From Wilmington: Take US 421 (Carolina Beach Rd.) south until you cross Snow's Cut Bridge. From the right hand lane go through 2 traffic lights. The second traffic light will have a large CVS on the SW corner. Once you are through the second light and past the CVS, prepare to turn right. You will pass the Presbyterian Church and then the Carolina Beach Town Hall, which is a large low stucco complex with flags out front. Once you are past the flags, turn right into the NEXT driveway. Take the driveway though several large live oaks. You will be looking at the History Center directly ahead. There is parking including handicapped in front of the building.
From the Fort Fisher Ferry: Take US 421 (Fort Fisher Blvd.) north through the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and the Town of Kure Beach. Continue on US 421 (Lake Park Blvd.) until you are past downtown Carolina Beach. Get into the left lane. When you are able to see the Snow's Cut Bridge ahead in the distance, you need to take a left turn into the driveway just BEFORE the Carolina Beach Town Hall. Take the driveway through several large live oaks. You will be looking at the History Center directly ahead. There is parking including handicapped in front of the building.
